Heh. I'd read it.

One thing I've been fascinated by on Twitter is the number of people who can't parse terms like "protagonist" and "villain." Yes, Virginia, a character can be both.

Pfft I'm way too lazy to write it. Although maybe someone already has....

Oh lord. Did you see the Venom trailer?

Heh. Bullet points? Random profanity?

Good Christ that looks bad. A Venom flick without Spider-Man, and he's the protagonist or something? Starring Mad Max?

Haha I could do that.

Fffft yeah I was like how the hell did you have time for this and not a Black Widow movie.

I try never to over analyze movies. Hit the "I believe" button, enjoy and move on :la: I did enjoy the beautiful animation, digital, and acting of the movie though. (Oh, and my beautiful Loki is not dead... saw a wonderful fan theory... the reason the "Hulk" couldn't transform was cause he was Loki in disguise, and his death was a trick. Please I just love me some Tom :lovely:

Haha, right? I got, and stayed, very very distracted by Hemsworth's biceps. Sorry, Chris Pratt.

Fffft bit of a reach, but I totally sympathize. Need that banter.

Hemsworth is distract worthy... Pratt is just cocky... even when he was chubby. I think it is adorable that he can't wait to be done with the role so he can stop living at the gym :D

Yessss... banter.

*whispers* It's literally an uncanny valley filled movie with a CGI lead who only succeeds because he's overpowered and all his opponents are dumb. Oh wait, that's most Marvel movies ...

But seriously, I enjoyed it. Not as much as I've enjoyed almost all the other Marvel moves, but here we are.

Haha, I liked it more than Age of Ultron tbh. My sister started trying to analyze the logical fallacies, though, so she's boned.

Haha ikr. I was like, we're talking about a movie where a purple potato man with Malthusian ambitions is going jewelry shopping. Don't overthink it.

Age of Ultron was a stack of dumpster fires on board a sinking container ship. Give any 5-year-old a bucket of random LEGO and she'll put something together that makes more sense.

I COULD say that Joss did the best he could given how many plot threads he had to braid and how many characters he was dealing with, but Cap: Civil War was a hell of a lot more graceful with many of the same challenges. And as depressing as Infinity War is, it's also the most interesting MCU flick to date. LOVED Dr. Strange's moments. He played the long game, and I dig that shit.

Ha yeah. At the end of the day I think he was brought down by his need to toss in wisecracks and shit even when there wasn't really space for them, like yes that kind of thing lightens the mood but it's not the top priority.
