July Literature Newsletter

Tue Jul 1, 2014, 8:37 PM by neurotype:iconneurotype:

Hello again! Yes, it's that time again—the start-of-a-new-month blogfest. While we're not doing any big projects, Flash Fiction Month is underway over at Flash-Fic-Month ! For the not-so-flash-inclined, Camp NaNo is always an option. And, er, we'll have something for you poets and scriptwriters soon-like.

In the meantime, check out our book club—now with fabulous prizes! —and get ready for Project Educate: Lit Basics Week (that's right, all literature) at the end of this month.

They are my initials, the middle included simply so I can do that. Yes, sometimes it's all about me - I make no apologies.

Greatest freaking gif ever. So glad Colombia is kicking so much ass since my two teams are out. (And that was totally off topic but hey. :P).

:giggle: I love their moves. I will be pissed if I can't find a way to watch the game Friday.

They're awesome. Colombia is so much fun to watch. 'Specially 'cause of James Rodriguez and my boy Jackson Martinez. :meow:

They do? Since I never watch soccer, I really have no idea. To me soccer is like watching paint dry or grass grow. My kids played it for a year when they were little and a niece in college (saw one game ~ the college was a few hours away), otherwise my interest is very low.

I've been paying a lot more attention this year, haha. There have been some really boring matches, but I just keep it on in the background. Mostly not at work....

I find sports work well in the background! Outside of watching The Ohio State University Buckeyes playing football, I'll be on the computer and glancing at the TV now and then during a broadcast ;)

Haha, nice!

Although when the match gets interesting, it's impossible to look away....
